My proposition is we use two sequences of equal value but not equalling1. So... First in the sequence is .99 the value is .01 from 1 if we add .01 to 1 we get 1.01. The difference between .99 and 1.01 is .02 If we accept the .99=1 then we also accept that 1.01=1 because the two values are equal in as much as both are .01 from 1 However, the difference between 1 and 1= 0 The difference between .99 and 1.01= .02 Using algebra we have doubled the original difference whilst the value for 1 remains unchanged. In what world does one value double and another value remain unchanged but remains equal???? Now if you compute each of the sequences sequentially you will get the same answer.
